Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Load outbound orders into designated trailers following procedures and checks.
  • Ensure pallets are built securely and wrapped per stops to prevent damage.
  • Verify header labels and inspect for damaged or outdated product before loading.
  • Load trailer with proper placement of bulkheads and complete load diagram submission.
  • Follow safety practices and keep dock area clean and organized.

SCHEDULE: Night Shift

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Related Experience: A minimum of one year warehouse experience preferred.

  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Pallet jack experience; Good attention to detail; Ability to read load diagrams; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

MAIN INGREDIENTS

  • Conduct trailer inspection before loading to insure trailer is clean, has the proper temperature and is ready for loading.

  • Ensure all pallets are built according to stops and are securely wrapped to avoid damage during transport.

  • Verify header labels on all pallets and check for damaged or outdated product before loading.

  • Load trailer, ensuring bulkheads are placed correctly and are secured. Also, confirm load diagram is completed and submitted.

  • Follow all safety work practices and maintain clean and orderly dock area.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $22.05/hour and $22.05/hour.

As applicable, this role will alsoreceive: overtime compensation, incentive compensation based on productivity and quality, and Freezer premium.
