What You Will Do
- Train non-exempt warehouse employees on processes and technology.
- Partner with leaders to identify appropriate technical training and development needs.
- Ensure TWI is used as a standard for operations training, provide TWI Job Instruction training, and coach employees on creating job breakdown sheets and instructing effectively through the Job Instruction methodology.
- Perform audits to minimize technical training gaps.
- Contribute to the training effectiveness and quality notification process.
- Provide analysis and metrics regarding learning effectiveness.
- Contribute to the recruitment process by carrying out dexterity tests for potential employees.
- Maintain training records.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in current training materials and procedures, and implement modifications.
- Participate in LEAN events and courses to obtain LEAN Level1 Certification.
What You Will Bring
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification: TWI Job Instruction Train the Trainer Certified (Level1 Preferred).
- System Experience: Experience utilizing a Learning Management System; Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Skills: Ability to manage multiple training priorities in a fast‑paced warehouse environment; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and collaborate well in a team environment.
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operation & Training: Experience training new hires and existing employees on PIT safety, proper operation, inspections, load handling, and pedestrian awareness.
- Background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Experience with receiving, picking, inventory moves, cycle counts, and shipment processing.
