Job summary

Surge Staffing is seeking a Line Lead to oversee day-to-day operations in a warehouse production setting. You will lead a team of associates, provide training, coach for productivity, quality, and safety, and jump in during staffing shortages to keep workflow moving.

The ideal candidate has warehouse/manufacturing experience, leadership history, strong attendance, and solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience required.
• Leadership or lead experience preferred.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of warehouse associates.
• Train new employees and cross-train to improve flexibility.
• Monitor productivity and quality, adjust workflow as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
• Promote a safe working environment and PPE compliance.
• Communicate updates to supervisors and other departments.
