Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to manage loading, unloading, stacking, sorting, and case picking in a fast-paced warehouse. This role requires operating all material handling equipment and guiding junior staff to meet customer orders efficiently.

The candidate should have a GED or high school diploma, experience with Arcadia MHE, strong communication and attention to detail, and a willingness to work weekends if needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Experience operating Arcadia MHE equipment.
• Good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with varied individuals.
• High attention to detail.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, power jack) in a warehouse.
• Pick, pack and load goods for shipping to customer locations.
• Ensure accuracy with put-away, shipping and receiving processes.
• Monitor KPIs like turnover, damages, and accuracy; report variances.
• Cross-train and assist other warehouse roles as needed.
• Verify inventory and inspect product quality and packaging integrity.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Provide training to new hires and support supervisors with guidance.
• Communicate effectively for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse.
