Job summary

HD Supply in Delaware operates a multi-department distribution center, covering case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will support management by coaching warehouse associates and providing training across shifts.

As a lead, you will coordinate tasks, operate material handling equipment, ensure accurate data entry, and uphold safety and efficiency across all warehousing functions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in distribution center operations.
• Experience coordinating multiple departments in a DC.
• Experience mentoring and coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and trains warehouse associates on warehousing duties, including material handling equipment.
• Coordinates and prioritizes warehousing work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Operates material handling equipment to load, unload, pick, stock, and stage inventory.
• Ensures warehousing functions run smoothly and escalates issues to management.
• Verifies and enters product and shipment data into inventory systems.
• Maintains clean work areas and follows safety policies and procedures.
• Completes required paperwork during assigned shifts.
• Serves as back-up for all warehousing functions.
