Job summary

Kenco Logistics seeks a Warehouse Lead for Chattanooga operations who will coach warehouse associates, oversee daily tasks, and back up supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in warehousing, 6 months of supervisory experience, and a valid forklift operator license or the ability to obtain one. You will drive safety, accuracy and continuous improvement in shipping, receiving and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers in daily tasks.
• Provide backup to the supervisor as needed across departments (shipping/receiving, packing, inventory).
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training and safety observations.
• Perform safe operation of powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Review daily production reports and communicate results to the team.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles and support ongoing operations.
