Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Chattanooga, TN to coach and train warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, while supporting daily warehouse operations. You will backfill supervisor duties and oversee safety, accuracy, and efficiency across the department.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse operations with 6 months supervisory experience and a valid forklift license or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen.
• 2+ years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Safely operate equipment to move products for distribution.
• Complete shipping paperwork and regulatory documentation.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Serve as backup to supervisor; cross-train for other roles.
