Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks a Warehouse Lead Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, and mailroom operations at our Chesapeake facility. You will manage deliveries, tracking, and asset labeling while ensuring compliance with client procedures and safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervision in shipping/receiving, a valid driver's license, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience shipping/receiving supervisor.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Proven customer service track record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Flexible and adaptable to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping, receiving, and mailroom operations.
• Receive shipments and enter tracking information.
• Deliver packages to end users per procedures.
• Uncrate shipments and dispose of containers per guidelines.
• Identify, tag, and document equipment per asset guidelines.
• Prepare outgoing shipments per regulations (FTC, IATA, FDA as applicable).
• Process priority shipments.
• Distribute packing slips daily per customer requirements.
• Review weekly sourcing transactions and follow up with customers.
• Ensure inventory at loading docks and copy/fax areas.
• Investigate lost/missing packages and communicate with customers.
• Coordinate large shipments to docks.
• Assist with maintenance duties and training as needed.
• Maintain SOP knowledge.
