Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead who will coordinate department workflow, oversee staff, and serve as the main contact for the floor. You will help implement safety protocols and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will train teammates, monitor attendance, assign tasks, back up the department manager when needed, and build strong relationships with customers and internal partners to support our goal of delivering a lifestyle people love.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• 3 years warehouse experience.
• 3 years customer contact experience.
• Lead experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per department.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to operate scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct department workflow; main point of contact.
• Track attendance and time off requests; assign tasks to the team and monitor progress.
• Train new and current staff on department equipment, updates to policies and process improvements.
• Back up to department manager/supervisor when unavailable.
• Complete departmental projects and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure safety of teammates and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
