Job summary

James Edward & Companies Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Byron, GA to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage loading, inventory, repacking, and safety compliance. The role includes coverage in the absence of the Warehouse Manager and ensuring workflow continuity.

The position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a focus on accuracy and process improvements. It offers full/part-time hours and a benefits package including retirement, medical coverage, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

• Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Must have a valid DOT.
• Must hold a clean driver’s license.
• Clear background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading accuracy and shipper/receiver documentation and follow warehouse instructions in building loads while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure product is rotated on trucks and in warehouse in accordance with expiration dates.
• Properly clean and repackage product as set forth by RBNA standards.
• Dispose of damaged and/or out of code product once approved by the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Warehouse by disposing of trash daily, sweeping floors daily and using floor scrubbers periodically.
• Build loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack from order sheets.
• Assist in training and mentoring warehouse team members, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Support and execute inventory control measures, assist with restocking counts, reconciliation and recordkeeping.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to address operational needs, issues and process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
