Job summary

Race Communications in Tehachapi, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee the daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate handling of supplies for internal and external distribution. You will coordinate retrieval, packing, and dispatch while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in warehouse operations, forklift certification, and English fluency; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• A valid driver's license, subject to DMV check.
• Forklift certified required.
• 1–2 years of related warehouse experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory control, and proper handling methods.
• Must speak/read/write/understand English as the primary workplace language.
• Spanish bilingual skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Materials handling and inventory management: transports materials, performs inspections, sorts/stores items, counts and replenishes stock.
• Shipping and receiving: picks, packs, ships materials and processes packages.
• Warehouse operations: maintain safe/clean environment, support productivity, and assist with training and supervision tasks as needed.
• Administrative tasks: reports and correspondence, inventory control support, operating systems knowledge.
• Sanitation and safety: assist with sanitation activities and safety training.
• Other duties as necessary.
