Job summary
Race Communications in Tehachapi, CA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving activities. This role ensures accurate handling of supplies for internal and external distribution, while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in warehouse ops, forklift certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to communicate in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for US employment without sponsorship
- Minimum 18 years of age
- A valid drivers license is mandatory (DMV verification)
- Forklift certification required
- 1bd 2 years of related warehouse experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of shipping, inventory control, and handling methods
- English as primary language; Spanish bilingual desirable
Responsibilities
- Transports materials using appropriate tools/vehicles
- Performs quality inspections on materials/products
- Sorts and stores materials per inventory procedures
- Conducts physical inventory counts and replenishes stock
- Picks, packs, and ships materials/products
- Processes all packages for shipping/returns
- Maintain a safe, clean warehouse and participate in quality improvements
- Provide administrative support and assist with inventory control
- Support sanitation and safety programs
