Job Summary

Summary: Works with warehouse associates to prepare and move merchandise according to safety, performance, and accuracy standards. Maintains and verifies documentation to facilitate merchandise flow through the distribution center. Performance impacts safety, cost, and service metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs functions, duties, and procedures as directed by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Receives, unloads, moves, and loads merchandise.
• Verifies correct counts and notes discrepancies or damages.
• Issues and delivers items, obtaining signatures for documentation.
• Maintains proper storage, rotates stock, and prevents spills/spoilage.
• Ensures a safe work area and reports hazards.
• Manages stock control, plans future needs, reviews orders, controls dead stock, and schedules deliveries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
