Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Warehouse Lead Supply Technician to oversee day-to-day operations at the Regional Supply Service Center in Anchorage. The role plans, coordinates, and manages transportation and storage of goods for 26 tribes nationwide, ensuring timely, high-quality, cost-effective activities.

The position requires leadership, strong logistics knowledge, forklift operation, and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Non-supervisory warehouse experience of four years.
• Forklift OSHA certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Possession of 49CFR and IATA certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Alaska Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and distribution of goods with quality standards.
• Strategize and set objectives for the team in alignment with the Logistics and Distribution Supervisor.
• Act as Logistics and Distribution Supervisor in their absence to maintain operations.
• Demonstrate strong decision-making, problem-solving, and delegation in a dynamic warehouse.
• Coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines and manage resources efficiently.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and safety in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Manage reports for receiving and order processing.
• Coordinate with customers regarding discrepancies in the supply chain process.
• Handle product recalls via national recall systems.
• Operate motorized vehicles for pickup/delivery of materials.
