Job summary

1 Click Logistics, a 3PL leader with nationwide coverage, seeks a Warehouse Lead in Vandalia, OH. You will oversee daily operations, guide a team, and ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.

You will use WMS software, monitor inventory, enforce SOPs, and drive process improvements while maintaining safety in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Lead or similar warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
• Plan with the Warehouse Supervisor by prioritizing daily warehouse activities, such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping, to meet operational goals and customer demands.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts, proper storage, and timely replenishment.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient warehouse operations.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software to track inventory, generate reports, and streamline warehouse processes.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within the warehouse operations.
• Use handheld scanners or other tools to track and update inventory levels.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment or pallet jacks to move items and pallets as necessary.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, checking for damaged or missing items, and recording discrepancies.
• Organize and arrange products in the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and easy accessibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse by properly disposing of packaging materials and keeping work areas tidy.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Report any inventory shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.
