Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Lead for the Hatfield, PA location. The role supports the DSD Warehouse and will receive, store, and distribute product to Route Sales teams while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 40+ hours weekly, and a full benefits package including a retention bonus up to $250. Experience with DOT and driving responsibilities are required.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Must be at least 21 years of age per DOT regulations to operate the appropriate vehicle.
• Must pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) Physical.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the current state of residence and a clean driving record.
• All Herr Foods Inc. job offers are contingent upon successfully passing a drug test.
• Herr Foods also has a Random Drug Testing program for all active employees.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trailers and stacks product in designated spaces in the warehouse.
• Counts and records product and materials being unloaded from trailer to maintain an accurate inventory count.
• Pulls Route Sales daily orders from stock and places the orders on pallets or track.
• Collects and organizes reusable cardboard boxes from Route Sales people.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Provides back-up assistance to the Branch Warehouse Manager for generating orders, scheduling and direction of job duty assignments for warehouse employees.
• Operate a Herr's straight truck vehicle to assist with out of stocks or deliveries 1-2 days per week regularly as well as providing back up support during vacations for the regular delivery driver.
• Assisting with route sales routes as needed.
