Job summary

Continental Door Co. in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing, and storing inventory, ensuring accurate records and safe, organized storage.

You will load/unload, stage goods for work orders, assist with truck loading, and help with general warehouse duties, contributing to efficient operations and compliance with safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift driver’s certification or ability to acquire.
• Ability to operate/use a hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable for company insurance.
• Able to pull a flatbed trailer as needed.
• Fast-paced environment; maintain composure, professionalism, and organization.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of products offloaded, and provide management with inventory status including damaged or missing items.
• Organize warehouse by customer or business unit; pull and stage products for upcoming work orders; assist with loading trucks.
• Handle wholesale and customer pick-ups; verify product to order and assist with loading.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; follow warehouse and safety procedures; manage hazards.
• Load material to remote sites as required; support special projects and other duties as assigned.
