Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Lead Warehouse Worker at our Grand Prairie, TX location. You will supervise daily warehouse operations, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety, accuracy, and productivity across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and adherence to OSHA standards, with opportunities to mentor staff and optimize workflows. Benefits include a strong benefits package and 401K, with a boot allowance after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum warehouse experience with lead or supervisory exposure.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Experience with WMS and inventory control required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
• Assign work tasks and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.
• Train, coach, and mentor new and existing warehouse employees.
• Ensure all receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to prioritize workloads and resolve issues.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and policy adherence.
• Lead by example promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
