Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a large team in a fast paced plant environment. You will delegate work, coordinate activities with IT, engineering, and production, and focus on preventing nonconformities in products and processes.

You will train staff, manage training records, and drive safety and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and experience with SAP, SAP-related EMS systems, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and train employees.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills needed to lead a large team.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel and Word is expected.
• Experience with ERP or EMS systems; SAP knowledge and Bartender a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delegates and assigns work duties.
• Coordinates departmental activities with other personnel and support functions.
• Identifies and initiates action to prevent nonconformities in product, process or quality system.
• Controls delivery of nonconforming product until deficiency is corrected.
• Supports training and maintains the training matrix within their zone.
• Engages and develops the team for continuous improvement.
• Identifies and addresses safety concerns; leads by example.
• Reports results, concerns, and improvement ideas to the organization.
• Assigns job responsibilities and evaluates completion.
