Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Production Operator to monitor and control the production process, ensure quality output, and set up the line for start-ups and style changes.

You will work in a team environment, follow procedures, and participate in lean manufacturing practices to safety and continuous improvement while performing other duties as assigned. Must read rulers, perform basic math, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; forklift experience and ERP/database familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Manufacturing experience with preference in plastics extrusion, nonwovens or paper manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the production process to ensure optimal efficiency and quality output.
• Set-up production line for start-up as well as all style changes required.
• Monitor material specifications and adjust to produce first quality material.
• Inspect line function from raw material input to finished output and communicate issues to maintenance or management.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to identify deviations or issues in the production process.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Demonstrate a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
