Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator II at Johns Creek Distribution, GA. You will handle warehouse shipping and receiving, verify and record items, and prepare shipments according to specifications and transport method.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be fluent in English, and be available for 2nd shift (3:00PM–11:30PM EST) with possible weekend work. Relocation sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Work hours: 40 hours per week: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 3:00PM EST - 11:30PM EST (some weekends required)

Responsibilities

• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and / or receiving duties which may require the use of a hand truck and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.
• Receives incoming materials or prepares material for shipment.
• Verifies quantity, weight and conformance of materials prepares records of materials shipped.
• Routes materials to destinations.
• May lay out, fabricate and assemble nonstandard crates and boxes.
• Rotate on a monthly basis to areas withing the department.
• Able to lead a small group of individuals.
• Good communication skills, email-face to face-work direction-training
