Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage is hiring for a warehouse associate in Missouri. The role requires leading a shift, understanding warehouse workflows, and performing dock tasks, scanning, pallet wrapping, and pallet building for customer orders.

The position involves working in a cold environment (-20F to 80F), standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and opportunities for internal advancement through leadership programs.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates welcome
• 2 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation may qualify for a higher start rate
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required

Starting Wage $21-$24/Hr (based on experience)

Reports to -Warehouse Supervisor

• Able to lead and motivate a group of employees.
• Understands the warehouse workflow and can efficiently execute tasks.
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Perform basic dock tasks such as scanning, wrapping pallets.
• Use material handling equipment to load and unload trailers.
• Perform start and end of shift tasks including sweeping and cleaning in the warehouse.
• Some manual material handling may be required.
• Case picking and building pallets as required by customers.

Our warehouse is cold. You must be able to work in a wide range of temperatures from -20F to 80F. You must be able to walk or stand for the entire 8 hour shift and to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
