Job summary

Sysco Guest Supply, LLC in Garland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead to collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor, set daily priorities, and direct a team to meet objectives while delivering excellent service to our distribution centers, customers and suppliers. You will coordinate workloads, train staff, resolve issues, and perform duties such as unloading, receiving, put-away, and order selection.

The role requires 2–5 years of warehouse experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years’ warehouse experience with knowledge of import/export receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
• Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills; ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly workloads with Supervisors.
• Direct team to meet daily objectives and provide leadership.
• Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution.
• Unload/load shipments, put away inventory, receive goods, and select products.
• Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and processes are efficient.
