Job summary

Boxzooka is seeking a Warehouse Lead for 2nd Shift (5:00 PM – 3:30 AM) to drive daily warehouse operations. The role requires at least 5 years of leadership experience and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

You will coach staff, coordinate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure accurate receiving, picking, packing, inventory, and shipping. Ideal candidates bring strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

About the Position

Boxzooka is looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Warehouse Lead to join our team on 2nd Shift.

The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for supporting and leading daily warehouse operations, ensuring that team members meet productivity, quality, safety, and accuracy expectations. This position will work closely with supervisors and management to coordinate workflow, resolve operational issues, and maintain an efficient and organized warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or logistics environment. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates during the assigned shift.
• Assign daily tasks and help coordinate workflow to meet operational goals.
• Monitor team productivity, accuracy, attendance, and overall performance.
• Ensure receiving, picking, packing, inventory, and shipping activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Train new and existing employees on warehouse procedures, safety policies, and productivity expectations.
• Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the shift.
• Communicate daily priorities, changes, and operational updates to the warehouse team.
• Identify and resolve workflow issues and elevate concerns to supervisors or management when necessary.
• Assist with inventory organization, stock put-away, and cycle counting as needed.
• Use scanners, computers, WMS systems, and other warehouse technology.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Conduct or assist with shift start-up meetings and team communications.
• Support supervisors and management with daily operational needs.
• Help ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish – required.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or similar experience.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to give clear instructions and effectively communicate with employees and management.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or warehouse management systems.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work safely while performing physical warehouse duties.
• Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Additional overtime may be available based on business needs.
