Warehouse Lead - 2nd Shift (Project Management)

Job Summary

Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team. This role involves assisting the leadership team in overseeing warehouse operations to ensure on-time shipment and receiving functions for all customer orders. Warehouse Leads are responsible for coordinating and directing all departmental workflows.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Lead warehouse employees through their shift by ensuring the team is set up for success, working safely and productively, and serve as the point of escalation for daily operations.
2. Coordinate scheduling to ensure effective and accurate workflow; support monitoring of deliveries, cleaning schedules, and maintenance priorities.
3. Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and Medline values.
4. Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership regarding daily operations.
5. Assist with moving products within the facility to meet customer needs with accuracy and efficiency by ensuring timely and accurate order receipt and shipment.
6. Contribute to projects and ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

Required Experience:

1. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and effectively communicate goals and processes to team members and customers.
2. High sense of urgency and customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Proficiency in SAP, Catalyst, arithmetic, and English communication skills.
3. Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
5. Ability to stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
6. Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

The salary range for this position is $25.25 - $35.25 per hour. Actual salary depends on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more for employees working 30+ hours per week.
