Position Overview
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing team performance and ensuring efficient, safe, and quality operations on the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities
- Establish and promote hard work ethics through teamwork and collaboration.
- Coordinate team assignments and balance resources to meet volume demands.
- Guide associates using Williams‑Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Solicit and incorporate team feedback to improve productivity and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Collaborate with supervisors, co‑workers, and other departments.
- Prioritize workflow to meet deadlines and production goals.
- Track productivity, investigate issues, and provide feedback on results.
- Train and direct associates to achieve departmental and division production objectives.
- Handle additional duties as instructed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
- Onsite, in‑office role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attendance and willingness to perform necessary duties.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- AS400 knowledge combined with advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with all MS Office applications.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, climb stairs or ladder.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the day.
- Capable of using a computer for extended periods.
- Lift and move up to 64 lbs with or without accommodation.
