Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead at our Braselton, GA distribution center. You will supervise a team of associates, ensure accurate receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and shipping, and drive safety, quality and productivity on the floor.

You will train and direct staff, prioritize workloads, and coordinate with other departments to meet daily production goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year in a leadership role.
• onsite role.
• Experience with Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving.
• Working knowledge of Excel, PKMS, RF Scanner, and AS400.
• Multi-tasker with attention to written and verbal communications.
• Moderate math skills (addition/subtraction).
• Take initiative and work with minimal direction.
• Good attendance and teamwork.
• Willing to work overtime and on varied schedules.
• Able to work in multiple departments/buildings as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Share business information through floor presence
• Work well with other department Leads/Operations Managers in assisting and trading resources when necessary
• Suggest improvements to current techniques
• Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental production goals in order to provide customers with the ultimate delivery experience
• Control the workflow on the floor to include prioritizing team goals to ensure that deadlines are met
• Tracking productivity, researching and resolving issues, providing feedback on productivity and quality related performance

• Have basic knowledge of Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving
• Have working knowledge of Excel, Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS), Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner), and AS400
• Able to multi-task and be extremely detailed on all written and verbal communications/documentations
• Have Intermediate knowledge of basic math (addition and subtraction)
• Able to take initiative and work with minimal direction
• Have excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team
• Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
• Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed
• Focus on maintaining a safe working environment at all times
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
