Job summary

STG Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, guide associates, and ensure efficient, safe handling of products. You will coordinate workflows, resolve issues, and support the Warehouse Supervisor in achieving goals.

The role requires 2–3 years of warehouse experience, leadership ability, and forklift certification. Candidates should be proficient with WMS and able to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.
• Previous leadership or lead experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of inbound, outbound, and inventory activities.
• Train and mentor team members on SOPs, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Perform hands-on warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, loading/unloading, and inventory control.
• Assist with scheduling and shift planning as needed.
• Monitor equipment use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Communicate daily goals, priorities, and updates to team members.
• Support cycle counts, audits, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.

Summary
