Responsibilities

• Inbound safety and timely materials inventory of material shipments.
• Inspect and document incoming inventory.
• Accurately account, track, and maintain inventory of incoming shipments in P21.
• Maintain proper accounting and documentation of shipped/delivered product in P21.
• Inspect outbound product prior to delivery and shipping.
• Work with Customer Service team and Account Managers to prioritize shipments and deliveries as necessary.
• Review driver routes and ensure efficient use of delivery trucks.
• Safely and efficiently deliver product to customers.
• Maintain adequate inventory of shipping and packaging materials.
• Review shipping and logistics rates periodically to ship product in a cost efficient manner while maintaining high customer service levels.
• Inventory management
• Periodically inspect, document, and maintain all warehouse equipment in good working condition, including but not limited to: Delivery trucks, forklifts, storage racks, and tools.

Job description

The Warehouse Lead will plan, and direct delivery operations related functions and activities within the warehouse. Candidates should be proactive and forward thinking, striving to mitigate risks and solve potential problems before they arise.

Stone slab handling experience strongly preferred.

The Warehouse Lead will be accountable for setting a leadership example and for building a team that drives continuous improvement. This individual will strive to achieve goals regarding productivity, inventory management, quality control, OSHA, and cost management. Must possess strong operations acumen, employee relations, customer service, and leadership capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Inbound safety and timely materials inventory of material shipments

You're A Great Fit If You Have:

• Experience in the tile or stone industry or slab handling experience strongly preferred
• Ability to plan the efficient storage of inventory to support timely inbound and outbound shipping and receiving
• Extreme organization
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts to ensure that physical stock matches P21 and research discrepancies as necessary
• Experience in supervising warehouse personnel
• Ensure that warehouse personnel follow all laws and company policies
• Equipment maintenance and management
• Clean criminal and driving record.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
