Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to be based on-site at Bedford Park, IL. You will plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates to ensure we meet service, quality, safety and productivity standards.

You will report defective products, oversee loading/unloading, forklift operation, and daily equipment inspections while coordinating with Traffic and Customer Service. Requires 3 years of warehouse experience, ability to lift 40 lbs, and flexible weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more depending on the facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area.
• Report defective or damaged products and follow up with corrective action.
• Manage warehouse associate responsibilities including loading/unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation.
• Handle and document daily inspections including equipment inspections and inbound/outbound trailer inspections.
• Check inbound/outbound shipments for compliance and report quantity differences and quality issues.
• Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service and coach staff.
