Job summary

Hanes Geo Components located in Midland, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. The role requires forklift operation, RF scanning, and leadership to guide warehouse staff.

You will ensure accuracy in inventory, maintain a safe and organized workplace, and coordinate carrier pickups while adhering to quality systems and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping, receiving, and bar-coded inventory using an RF Scanner.
• Forklift certified and able to operate lift trucks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Commitment to quality systems and continual improvement.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify and stop non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality system.
• Prevent nonconformities in products, services, or the management system.
• Suggest improvements and verify implementation of solutions.
• Manage warehouse inventory with accurate shipping/receiving and weekly cycle counts.
• Count incoming inventory for accuracy and create inventory tickets.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Lead and assign warehouse staff in daily tasks.
• Prepare and complete all shipping documents.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Schedule carriers to pick up freight.
• Ensure every piece of freight is accounted for and tagged.
• Ensure freight is located in its proper place.
• Utilize warehouse space correctly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
• Participate in the continuous quality process.
• Conform to all quality/safety requirements and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Department Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Able to operate office equipment.


• Able to operate lift trucks.


• Forklift Certified.

Primary Duties

• All employees must take action to prevent nonconformities related to the product produced, service provided, or the Management system.
