METTLER TOLEDO in Lutz, FL is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manufacturing Lead to support Material Coordinators, Assembly Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving, ensuring timely, safe delivery of materials and components to all manufacturing areas.

You will mentor team members, handle tier 1 escalations, uphold 5S and Lean practices, run daily startup meetings, and maintain plant safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Material Coordinators, Assembly Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving.
• Ensure materials and components are delivered safely and on time to manufacturing areas.
• Establish priorities, monitor progress, and adjust schedules to meet demands.
• Provide hands-on training to team members.
• Resolve tier 1 escalations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Champion 5S and Lean Manufacturing programs.
• Assist in daily startup meetings when needed.
• Adhere to company policies and code of conduct.

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Warehouse & Logistics Manufacturing Lead is responsible for supporting Material Coordinators, Assembly Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving to ensure all post received materials and made components are coordinated and delivered to their designated locations safely, on time, and with the highest level of quality to all manufacturing departments.

What you will do:

• Ensure quality standards is adhered to by using organizational standards and
• guidelines.ie SOPS, ISO Documentation
• Timely communication with all departments to maintain material and order flow
• Ensure manufacturing and customer demands are met by establishing priorities,
• monitoring progress, and revising schedules
• Provide hands-on training to team members
• Act as first responder or SME to resolve tier 1 escalations when issues arise
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all MT safety policies
• Champion and support 5S and Lean Manufacturing programs
• Support and at times run daily startup meeting when Supervisor is unavailable
• Adhere to all Organizational Vision, Values, and Code of Conduct
• Standing for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10lbs
• Occasionally lefts and/or moves up to 50lbs
• Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Mentoring skills; ability to train others
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, push, pull for long periods throughout the day and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs

• Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Advanced SAP knowledge
• Basic Lean knowledge
