Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manufacturing Lead in Florida to support coordinating materials and components across departments. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while mentoring team members and driving lean initiatives.

The role requires strong problem solving, communication, and SAP proficiency, with the ability to train others and work with limited supervision. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing environment with quality focus.
  • Strong problem solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications; Lean knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Material Coordinators, Assembly Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving to coordinate materials and components.
  • Maintain safety and adherence to MT policies; participate in 5S/Lean programs.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentor team members.
  • Assist in daily startup meetings and help prioritize schedules.
  • Communicate across departments to ensure on-time material flow and quality.

Job description

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Warehouse & Logistics Manufacturing Lead is responsible for supporting Material Coordinators, Assembly Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving to ensure all post received materials and made components are coordinated and delivered to their designated locations safely, on time, and with the highest level of quality to all manufacturing departments.

What you will do:

  • Ensure quality standards is adhered to by using organizational standards and guidelines.ie SOPS, ISO Documentation
  • Timely communication with all departments to maintain material and order flow
  • Ensure manufacturing and customer demands are met by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, and revising schedules
  • Provide hands‑on training to team members
  • Act as first responder or SME to resolve tier 1 escalations when issues arise
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all MT safety policies
  • Champion and support 5S and Lean Manufacturing programs
  • Support and at times run daily startup meeting when Supervisor is unavailable
  • Adhere to all Organizational Vision, Values, and Code of Conduct
  • Standing for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
  • Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10lbs
  • Occasionally lefts and/or moves up to 50lbs
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment

  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Mentoring skills; ability to train others
  • Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, push, pull for long periods throughout the day and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Advanced SAP knowledge
