Responsibilities

• Lead staffing discussions with Operations to meet production goals.

• Troubleshoot IRRs and train the team on processes.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure daily department checklist goals.

Job Summary:

The Lead Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations through effective communication, documentation, and coordination between internal teams, vendors, and customers. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient product flow, accurate documentation, and timely service. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, leadership in training and troubleshooting, and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence. Hours: Monday to Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm

What you will be doing:

• Communicate staffing needs to Operations Management team to ensure company production goals are met. Participate in interviewing, and training of new personnel.
• Complete all duties as assigned involving returns, claims and return authorizations including inter-office communication, external communication and follow up.
• Review, respond and understand manifest instructions, packing list information and all product/vendor information. Review vendor documents and reporting/identify discrepancies and follow up as needed with vendors and management.
• Trouble shoot IRR’s and work with the team and individuals to eliminate errors and train to process documents.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers in a professional manner. All efforts must support meeting our customer service expectations as outlined and required by the Company.
• Successfully complete shipping documents, including bill of lading paperwork. This position requires a thorough understanding of all federal, state and company laws/rules related to shipping products.
• Promptly and professionally complete of all assigned correspondence via written and electronic responses.
• Ensure proper levels of inventory and supplies for the warehouse at all times to ensure your team has the ability to perform assigned tasks and meet team goals.
• Ensure that all daily department checklist objectives are met and communicated to the Operations Leadership Team.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and workplace guidelines. This position requires a satisfactory understanding of company policies, procedures and workplace guidelines.
• Promote and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner in support of company policies and procedures. The expectation includes reporting any potential hazards as well as correcting potential unsafe situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, stretch and stand for prolonged periods of time.
