Job summary

Miura in Rockmart, GA is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support the Warehouse Supervisor with daily floor leadership and hands-on coordination of receiving, stocking, picking, and inventory accuracy. You will ensure safe, efficient operations and serve as the first point of contact for floor associates.

You will lead by example in all warehouse activities, assign tasks, monitor workflow, and escalate issues as needed while helping train new staff and maintain a professional, safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and material flow.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with inventory handling, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to train others and reinforce standard work.
  • Crane and Forklift certified (or ability to obtain).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or warehouse systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing production priorities.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse lead or senior warehouse associate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as day-to-day floor lead, coordinating and prioritizing warehouse activities to support production and shipping schedules.
  • Lead by example through active participation in receiving, putaway, picking, staging, packing, and material delivery.
  • Assign daily tasks to Warehouse Associates as directed and adjust based on operational needs.
  • Monitor workflow, labor coverage, and material movement to prevent delays or shortages.
  • Ensure paperwork, system transactions, and documentation are accurate and submitted properly.
  • Support inventory control efforts including cycle counts, discrepancy research, and corrective actions.
  • Identify safety, quality, inventory, or process issues and escalate to the Supervisor.
  • Assist in training new employees and reinforcing standard work and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
  • Provide backup coverage for the Warehouse Supervisor when assigned.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to efficiency, accuracy, and material flow.

Job description

Working Hours:

6 am - 3 pm, but hours can change and some overtime may be required

Purpose of position:

The Warehouse Lead supports the Warehouse Supervisor by providing daily floor leadership and hands‑on coordination of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, material movement, and inventory accuracy. This role ensures work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to established procedures while serving as the first point of contact for associates on the floor. The Warehouse Lead helps maintain workflow, supports training, and escalates issues to the Supervisor as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
