Trinidad Benham is seeking a Warehouse Lead in the City of Industry, CA. The role oversees shipping/receiving activities, ensures safety and productivity, and coordinates daily warehouse operations in the absence of the supervisor.

The
Warehouse Lead position is responsible for coordinating and executing all shipping and receiving activities as directed by Warehouse Supervisor. Responsible for ensuring safety, quality and productivity objectives are met.
Ensure efficient and timely start-up of daily warehouse operations in absence of warehouse supervisor.
Coordinate the loading and unloading of outbound and inbound shipments.
Ensure orders are picked in a timely manner by ready ship date.
Serve as the direct contact to shipping and receiving clerk.
Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor regarding product rotation and space allocation. Ensure first in, first out (FIFO) stock rotation is followed.
Communicate any shortages and damages of product.
Assist in training of new and existing employees to minimize downtime and product damage.
Maintain radio communication with other team members for loading and unloading efficiency.
Accurately complete required paperwork.
Operates a gas or electric forklift in warehouse.
Operates Track Mobile in the Rail yard.
Performs daily forklift inspections while adhering to established safety procedures.
Loads shipments into trailer(s).
Maintains clean and organized aisles or racks storage, consolidates partial pallets when needed.
Ensure proper placement of rail car(s) by unloading priority.
Communicates with management personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility.
Works in partner with Operations Support Specialist in the execution of Cycle Count program.
Complies with company safety policies and maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
Frequently (more than 75% of time) required to: stand and/or walk, use ladders and climb stairs, bend and stoop, reach, push/pull, kneel and crouch. Lift, carry and/or move items up to 50 pounds, without assistance; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, to verbally communicate; and to hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
