Job summary

Maersk in Fairburn, GA is seeking Warehouse Associate Leads to manage a 10+ person team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires reading production schedules, organizing receiving, storage and picking, and ensuring accurate distribution.

You will lead daily operations Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, lift 75+ lbs, and uphold safety and quality standards. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, paid time off, and flexible work schedules where possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift heavy items (75+ lbs).

Responsibilities

• Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation and motivates the team.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items to production workers or the assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing/shipping.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels; records amounts received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution; arranges product in specified sequence for assembly.

We are seeking Warehouse Associate Leads in Fairburn, GA!

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Summary:

Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within warehouse by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Must be able to lift heavy- 75+ lbs

Responsibilities

Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include ability to lead, motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

$20.00 an hour** Bonus eligible position!!**
