Job summary

Performance Team in New Jersey seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a 10+ person team in our warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate order fulfillment and efficient flow of goods.

You will read production schedules, direct material movements, and coordinate packing, shipping, and receiving while maintaining records and communicating with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials on racks or bins according to product code.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to production workers.
• Assemble customer orders and place on pallets or direct to packing/shipping.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items for distribution and ensure conformance.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Responsibilities Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation.
• Responsibilities include ability to lead, motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

$18.00- $20.00 per hour *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
