Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Warehouse Associate Lead in Fairburn, GA. The role involves guiding a team through receiving, storing, and distributing materials, following schedules and orders, and ensuring accurate handling of all items.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a focus on process efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related warehousing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to lift 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team in a warehouse environment.

• Sort materials by size, type, style, color, or product code on racks or shelves.
• Fill requisitions and distribute materials to production workers or assembly lines.
• Assemble customer orders and place orders on pallets for packing or shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Arrange product in sequence for assembly by others.
• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs.

Summary:

Receives, stores, and distributes material and products withinwarehouseby performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition todetermineitems to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predeterminedsequencesuch as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assemblyline.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials withidentifyinginformation such as labels.
• Recordsamountsof materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution withinplantto ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
• Must be able to lift heavy- 75+ lbs

Responsibilities

Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation. Responsibilities includeabilityto lead,motivateand direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
