Job summary

Intelligent Workforce Solutions in Edison, NJ seeks a warehouse supervisor to lead a team of 5–10 and ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and order processing. You will coordinate with carriers, monitor shipments via WMS, and maintain organized operations daily.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a focus on safety and process improvement. Prior WMS and forklift experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow of 5 to 10 employees and delegate tasks
• Communicate with transportation carriers when needed
• Monitor all web, warranty, and retail shipments via WMS
• Management of shipping & receiving products
• Pick and prepare customer orders for pickup or shipment
• Move and stock merchandise within warehouse
• Ensure the work area is neat, clean, and organized daily
• Set goals for performance and deadlines
• Assess work performance and identify improvement areas
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through quality control
• Maintain records and utilize reports to project team performance
• Train new hires on roles and responsibilities
• Pass information between upper management and employees
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Undertake disciplinary actions when needed

Pay $21.00-$24.00 an hour depending experience

Job description

Communicate with transportation carriers when needed, including FedEx, USPS, UPS, and OnTrack.

Monitor all web, warranty, and retail shipments via WMS system (ex. Manhattan Scale)

Management of shipping & receiving products

Pick and prepare customer orders for pick up or shipment.

Move and stock merchandise within warehouse.

Ensure the work area is neat, clean, and organized daily.

Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company's plans.

Assess the work performance of their employees and identify areas that need improvement.

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through quality control of goods.

Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project team performance.

Train new hires to make sure they understand their roles and responsibilities.

Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa.

Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures.
