Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Reports to: E&H Services Operations Manager

Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision, meet with customers and prospects to discuss their projects. Prepare and present a proposal to complete their projects. The Handyman will need to have expertise in multiple areas of home repair, maintenance, and remodeling. The Handyman must have basic construction skills, be organized, and effectively communicate with others with a positive attitude.

Job Description

• Responsible for plumbing/handyman inventory including ordering, receiving, and pricing
• Restock service vans each day from warehouse
• Prepare purchase orders after consultation with management
• Based on orders being submitted, communicate suggested retail prices to management
• Receive merchandise into the store and match against purchase order
• Prepare pricing and identification labels for merchandise and managing price changes and label accordingly
• Advise management of inventory shortages, damages, etc. in a timely manner
• Make recommendations to management when new lines should be added, old lines dropped, basic stock quantities adjusted, etc.
• Help unload incoming freight
• Pick up and/or deliver equipment or merchandise as required
• Maintain housekeeping throughout property including receiving area and warehouse
• Maintain scrap metal
• Use Service Fusion software
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
  
  
  

Equipment Used:

Hand and power tools; pipe bender; propane torch; welding equipment; sewer rooter; heavy

equipment, including forklift. Light truck or van.

Working Conditions:

Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and

carrying. Work in tiring and uncomfortable positions, around gas lines, around fumes and toxic

chemicals, outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Frequent travel.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School degree or equivalent

Experience:

Five Years’ Experience In Plumbing Field, Preferred

• Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques
• General carpentry, drywall repair, minor plumbing, flooring, handyman and maintenance work, and general repairs
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and otherwise move about
