Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide outbound operations at the Aurora, OH facility. You will oversee check-in, matching, packing, processing, and ensure inventory accuracy using WMS and RF devices.

You will coach and motivate a team to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets, coordinating with Warehouse Supervisor and Manager to optimize daily performance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–12 months of experience in a packaging operation.
  • Ability to coach and lead a team.
  • English communication skills required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outbound tasks including check-in, matching, packing, and processing.
  • Maintain inventory integrity using WMS and RF devices.

The team leaderis responsible forleading tasks associated withAurora,Ohiooutbound. This means leading tasks including but not limited to check in, matching, sorting, packing, processing, and all other functions to support processing outbound orders. Use of the Warehouse management system (WMS) and Radio frequency devices (RF’s) may berequiredto carry out processing of material, and tomaintaininventory integrity.

Leads various tasks throughoutAurora facility,including, but not limited to:

Check-in, matching, unpacking, matching, counting, sorting, packing, and processing.

Teach,trainand communicate safety, quality, and productivity standards

Motivate and engage operational staff and associates to ensure facility results are achieved in a high energy, engaging environment

Solve daily operational problems with a can-do approach

Outbound Operations Responsibilities

  • Be available to work beyond the regularly scheduled shift when operationally necessary to complete daily outbound work.
  • Complete required daily reporting and scan pick tickets accurately.
  • Coordinate corrugate orders and snap-packing activities with management guidance.
  • Maintain outbound aisles and coordinate the picking, packing, shipping, and confirmation of large customer and stock orders, including Balkamp, Family Farm, Tractor Supply, international shipments, and other large orders.
  • Follow established processes for Central East, England, and France shipments, including P21 transactions, paperwork and spreadsheet organization, and email communication.
  • Schedule and confirm LTL shipments and process international shipments.
  • Process production orders for picking and maintain proficiency in applicable shipping software and systems, including P21 and Quick Ship.
  • Assistwith packing decisions and make rate-shopping and LTL/ground shipping decisions with management guidance.
  • Assistwith picking and packing when order volumes are high or additional support is needed.
  • Recognize significant increases in order volume and request support from other departments with management guidance.
  • Position pickers and packers based on order volume, with guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
  • Organize, track, and record pick tickets as they are generated.
  • Coordinate daily UPS, FedEx, USPS, and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments.
  • Oversee the daily picking, packing, shipping, and confirmation of outbound orders.

Occasional pushing/pulling to 65lbs. atwaistlevel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • Ability to safelyoperatewarehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, work-assist vehicles, and band saws

YourExperience and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

Three to twelve months of relevant experience working in a packaging operation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The team leader will set up work areas, direct workflow,allocateresources, and improve processes within a workgroup. The team leader reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and does not havedisciplinaryor corrective-action authority.

Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed within a warehouse setting both indoors and outdoors.

Noise levels vary; however, there is no continuous exposure to hazardous noise levels.

Proper lifting techniques and caution in handling materials contribute to the maximum safety of the employee.
