Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for our Arlington, TX site. You will guide a team across inbound, outbound, picking and put-away processes to meet daily goals with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, and collaboration with operations management to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and a strong customer experience.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 1 year in a leadership experience.
  • This is an onsite and in office role.
  • Basic knowledge of Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, PKMS, RF Scanner, and AS400.
  • Able to multi-task and be detailed in communications/documentation.
  • Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
  • Able to take initiative with minimal direction.
  • Excellent attendance and teamwork.
  • Overtime and flexible schedules available.
  • Work in multiple departments/buildings as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of associates for In- Bound, Out- Bound, Picking and Put-Away.
  • Support Operations Manager/General Manager to meet daily goals with minimal supervision.
  • Train and direct a team to achieve departmental production goals.
  • Prioritize floor workflow to meet deadlines.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm.

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the Operations Manager/General Manager with leading a group of associates for In‑Bound (IB), Out‑Bound (OB), Picking and Put‑Away while ensuring that daily departmental goals are met with minimal supervision.

The Warehouse Lead position is located in Arlington, TX.

  • Work well with other department Leads/Operations Managers in assisting and trading resources when necessary.
  • Suggest improvements to current techniques.
  • Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental production goals in order to provide customers with the ultimate delivery experience.
  • Control the workflow on the floor to include prioritizing team goals to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Tracking productivity, researching and resolving issues, provide feedback on productivity and quality related performance.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least 1 year in a leadership experience.
  • This is an onsite and in office role.
  • Have basic knowledge of Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving.
  • Have working knowledge of Excel, Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS), Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner), and AS400.
  • Able to multi-task and be extremely detailed on all written and verbal communications/documentations.
  • Have knowledge of basic math (addition and subtraction).
  • Able to take initiative and work with minimal direction.
  • Have excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team.
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules.
  • Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed.
  • Focus on maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
We Prefer Some Of These Qualities As Well
  • At least 1 year of forklift driving experience with Order Picker (OP), Reach Truck (RT), Swing Reach (SW), and Dock Stocker (DS).
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in distribution or manufacturing environment.

  • Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders.
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day.
  • Comfortable elevating on an Order Picker (OP) and Swing Reach (SW) 35 ft.
