Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is looking for a Warehouse - Kitter to join the team. This role gathers components for assembly, maintains inventory, prints labels, and transfers materials to the correct areas to support the manufacturing floor.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and be able to stand for 8 hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Standing for 8 hours, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and readiness for hands-on material handling.

Responsibilities

• Gathers product components for assembly based on pick list and work orders.
• Counts parts to determine inventory accuracy.
• Maintains accurate inventory database and prints/attaches labels for parts.
• Identifies and communicates discrepancies to supervisor.
• Moves materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Records material movement on daily production sheets.

This position is responsible for retrieving materials to create assembly kits for the manufacturing floor as well as retrieving other materials, as needed, which are necessary for the manufacturing process. Job Description

• Gathers product components for assembly based on pick list and work orders
• Counts parts to determine inventory accuracy
• Maintains accurate inventory database
• Prints and attaches labels to accurately identify parts
• Identify and communicate discrepancies to supervisor
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Able to stand/walk 8 hours per day
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
