Job summary

Amcor LLC in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production by retrieving and supplying raw materials, scanning and moving goods, and maintaining accurate inventory. The role operates on a 6:00 pm - 6:15 am shift with a 36-48 hour rotating schedule.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.50 per hour, plus a $2 night shift differential. Responsibilities include cycle counts, put‑away, line clearance, scrap handling, and loading shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and supply raw materials for the production floor, including resin, pallets and totes.
  • Scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and to the warehouse; complete manual IT forms if scanning is down.
  • Move excess raw materials to the warehouse, weigh and scan into inventory; follow FIFO rotation rules.
  • Scan finished goods into inventory, wrap when required, and ensure proper storage and stacking.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies; participate in annual full cycle count.
  • Put away and consolidate materials; maintain documentation for all materials.
  • Participate in line clearance process and ensure product integrity is maintained.
  • Move scrap materials to regrind area, weigh and record scrap, and operate compactor as needed.
  • Keep warehouse clean and safe; operate powered industrial equipment and a manual pallet jack.
  • Pick and stage items for shipping; firewall orders; load shipments per bill of lading; assist with relabeling or packaging changes as needed.

Job DescriptionRetrieve and supply raw materials for the production floor. (Resin, pallets and totes etc), ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the appropriate location.-Scan and transport raw materials to the production floor and to the warehouse.-If scanning is not operational, may be required to complete manual IT forms.-Move any excess raw material to the warehouse; weighing it and scanning it into inventory.-Follow designated inventory location rules for proper rotation using F.I.F.O.-Responsible for scanning of raw material for production use and returning to inventory locations.-Responsible for scanning finished goods into inventory, wrapping when required and proper storage & stacking.Cycle Counts-Performs cycle counts and reconciles discrepancies on a daily basis.-Participates in annual full cycle count.-Put Away and Consolidation activities.-Performs put away activities on a daily basis.-Maintains proper documentation for all materials.-Participate in line clearance process-Ensure product integrity is maintained at a high level.Scrap-Move clean scrap cap gaylords to the regrind area.-Accurately weigh & record all scrap in designated collection points.-Take scrap boxes to compactor and compact them.-Empties garbage containers when full.Warehouse Housekeeping and Safety-Ensure Warehouse is kept clean and clear of safety issues on a daily basis.-Sweeps and mops floors.-Ensures all pathways are kept clear.-Perform daily pre-use check on powered industrial equipment.-Report any unsafe condition or near miss in the Warehouse-Reporting loss, damage and any such discrepancies to the supervising authorities.-Operate a manual pallet jack.Logistic and Distribution.-Picking and staging kids for shipping to ensure that all items are addressed and shipped to appropriate locations.-Firewall orders prior to shipping in accordance to picking list.-Load shipments in accordance to bill of lading and firewall.-Performs picking process in case it is needed (relabeling, change packaging or pallets, etc.).Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.Schedule: 6:00 pm - 6:15 am. 12 hour shift. 36 48 schedule (rotating).Pay: The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $20.00; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience between $20 and $22.50.
