Job description

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full‑time, permanent openings to join our Warehouse Janitorial Associate/Cleaning Crew Member. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and helping make an impact on safety in the workplace, this is the role for you.

Overview

The Warehouse Janitorial Associate will perform cleaning duties in designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment across a variety of facilities.

Schedule

• Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekends
• Shifts Available: 6:00 am – 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Starting Pay: $15.80 per hour

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor and outdoor), and office areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash.
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times.
• Cleaning totes and other items.
• Performing deep cleaning as needed.
• Following all safety and quality standards.
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish where state required).
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation).
• All non‑exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence mobile time‑keeping software on personal devices to clock in and out. Cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work‑related tasks.
