Job summary

Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Warehouse Specialist on a Government contract with a place of performance at Cherry Point, NC. The 1ST SHIFT runs from 7am to 3:30pm and you will perform a variety of warehousing duties.

Candidate responsibilities include verifying materials against receiving documents, routing items to storage locations, stacking and inventorying stored materials, and operating basic hand or power trucks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a CAC.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must work in environment exposed to heat and cold.
• Valid driver’s license required for training and operating MHE.
• Weight under 300 lbs to operate forklifts.
• At least one year of experience with Supply Management operation systems.
• Familiar with SOPs and Safety Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties.
