Job summary

Technica LLC is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a government contract based in Cherry Point, NC. The role runs on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, focusing on accurate receiving, storage, and shipment processes within the established warehouse plan.

The ideal candidate will verify materials against documents, move items with MHE when required, and maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to SOPs and safety procedures. A Secret clearance and CAC eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a CAC.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in environments exposed to heat and cold.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate MHE (stand-up/sit-down forklifts).
• Must meet weight requirement (under 300 lbs) to operate forklifts and stock selectors.
• At least 1 year of experience with Supply Management operation systems.
• Prior knowledge of SOPs and Safety Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties per the establishment's storage plan.

Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Warehouse Specialist on a Government contract with a place of performance at Cherry Point, NC

1ST SHIFT: 7am-3:30pm

Position Summary

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan
• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.
• Must have a valid drivers license, required for training and operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types to Include stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Must meet the weight requirement (under 300 lbs) to operate the forklifts and stock selectors
• At least one-year experience with Supply Management operation systems.
• Prior knowledge and experience with Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DSS and other Government Data Systems
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types Including stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Experience with resolving common error conditions
• Experience responding to computer output instructions or error conditions

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
