Job summary

Lanco Group of Companies in Fontana, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving and inventory operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will pick, pack, bin parts, track shipments, and operate forklifts while adhering to safety policies. A high school diploma or GED and 6 months of related experience are required; vocational training in Inventory Management or Logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience in a similar shipping/receiving role.
• Desired: Vocational training in Inventory Management, Logistics or material processing.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, ship and bin parts with accuracy within specified time frames.
• Track shipments and freight charges; bill correctly.
• Receive parts into the system and bin or ship per system instructions.
• Operate material handling equipment, forklifts and related machinery safely.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations to minimize incidents.
• Communicate status of activities to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain adherence to company policies to reduce liability.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
• Provides assistance to other departments as needed.
• Performs other tasks as requested.
