Job summary

Gallup-McKinley County Schools seeks a Storekeeper to manage receiving, stocking, and distributing supplies across the district's schools and sites, up to 150 miles from the central warehouse.

The role requires basic warehouse procedures, data entry, and ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. CDL preferred and NM driver's license required; two years of warehouse/inventory experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Inventory/stock control practices.
• Basic office and warehouse procedures, methods and equipment.
• English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Basic Mathematic principles.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees at various school sites and departments.
• Basic computer skills needed (email, MS Word, Excel).
• Capability to learn new software and procedures as needed.
• Check logs and data for accuracy and to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Receiving items, checking request for conformance with procedures.
• Stocking, loading, and delivering goods to all District schools and locations.
• Maintaining records of capital equipment for the District.
• Using mechanized moving equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Perform clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of warehouse files and records.
